Laura Cameron has turned grooming from a side gig, into a mainstay that lights people up. As her horse-clipping skills grew, she used them more as part of her job as a riding instructor. Laura is proof that creativity resides in all of us, and it has the potential to make people's lives better.

When I started as a riding instructor, clipping horses was just part of the job. At the time, my boss asked if I could clip some simple designs into the horses. That started my work as a groomer.


Over time, my designs have grown much more intricate and decorative. They have become a mainstay in my business, in addition to the riding instruction.


It makes me so proud when my designs are able to make people smile. Start simple with a tool and animal that you trust.
